Educational Objective

Graduates of this course will have attained all of the key skills required in the business world for immediate employment in an office environment. The office applications taught reflect those that are used in the majority of business for world processing, databases, presentations and accounting. Students are prepared towards the Microsoft Office User Specialist certifications. A

 

Satisfactory completion of all courses, including the supervised practicum, minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with spelling, grammar and punctuation accuracy, and a minimum grade average of 70% (C) are required for graduation.

Occupational Objective

A Computer Office Specialist graduate may find positions as a receptionist, data entry clerk, general office clerk, office assistant or technical support for office applications.
